Facing the Fear of Failure: Our Kickstarter is Live!
We’re thrilled to announce that our brand-new Kickstarter campaign is now live — and we’d love your support in bringing this important project to life.
Facing the Fear of Failure is a creative, confidence-boosting workbook designed to help children aged 7–11 rediscover the joy of learning, writing, and being wonderfully imperfect. It’s full of playful activities, reflection prompts, and imaginative exercises that gently challenge the fear of getting things wrong — a fear that stops so many children from raising their hand, writing a sentence, or sharing an idea.
This project has already received early praise from both national and local children’s charities:
“I think they could be really valuable for our groups.” – Helen Bishop, Roald Dahl Children’s Charity
“We’d love to add a few of the sheets to our website as downloadable self-help resources.” – Kathy Whitewood, Isle of Wight Youth Trust
We’re raising funds to cover printing, design, and free distribution of the workbook to schools, libraries, and wellbeing services — starting right here on the Isle of Wight.
At Lemon Jelly Press, we believe every child deserves to feel brave, capable, and creative — and this workbook is just the beginning. By backing our campaign, you’ll help us empower more children to take risks, make mistakes, and know they are still enough.
All backers will be named in our special thank-you page, and rewards include printed copies, downloadable resources, and early access to new releases.
